  • Son of Thomas Henry and Jane Wilkinson; husband of Eva Wilkinson (nee Warner), of The Woodlands, Pukekohe, Auckland.

Father of Richard Thomas Wilkinson; Roy Irving Wilkinson; Mary Gwendoline Wilkinson and Albert Edward Wilkinson.

He came with his family to New Zealand at the age of 4 years and attended Pukekohe Intermediate School and Auckland Grammar School from 1896.

    Member of the Oddfellows' fraternity.

Remembered at Pukekohe Intermediate School, with Memorial stones & loving memory roses.

Named A.G. Wilkinson on the Pukekohe Intermediate School, WW1, Memorial stone. Research has not discovered a connection with Rotorua nor the reason for his name on the Memorial. We would appreciate any advice on this matter. AWMM

  • A number of years ago, I found a portrait of Captain Wilkinson in a house I bought in Ngaruawahia. I have no relationship to Captain Wilkinson, and would very much like to return this portrait to his family or descendants
