  • Arthur is remembered and honoured by my family every year. He was the 3rd member of the same Williams family to give his life in WW1 in France. The other two members of the family were Cyril Ernest Williams (service no. 20269) and Cyril's younger brother Percy Lawrence Williams (service no. 20271).

    Arthur's father (also called Arthur) was the younger brother of my gr-gr-grandfather William John Williams of Karori, Wellington.
