  • Charles Hawksworth Brown was my Grandfather's brother. My grandfather was Pearson Christopher Brown. Charles' nephews were, Karl Graeme Brown, (My Father) and Maxwell Francis Brown, my uncle.
Pearson Christopher Brown enlisted in the AIF, 22nd battalion, last known record was in the UK, 1919
but never returned to his family, nothing heard or known of him by his family in Australia since. Aust Military records still have Pearson listed as being overseas, as at 2018.

Pearson's wife was Ruby Alice Brown nee Moore, originally from the Moore family in Sprent Tasmania.

I have found a photo on the internet of Charles in Egypt.

It is good for me to make this connection to my Grandfather;s brother. My they Rest in peace.
