    He was a carpenter with the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

    He died at his home after a long illness

    Father and son served in WW2: Walter Alfred Abrahams (NZ29122) died on active service and his son Ronald Alfred Walter Abrahams (NZ391792) was killed.
