Contingents despatched to South Africa 1899, 1900, 1901, 1902 more especially is intended to keep alive for all time in the hearts of the people of Marlbough. The illustrious ones who having fought a good fight sealed their devotion to the Empire by dying in its cause. Dulce et Decorum est pro Patria Mori.
