    • Trooper William Jennings was the brother of Sergeant Albert ('Bert') Charles Jennings (1879-1917), NZEF Service # 6/1887, of the Canterbury Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, NZEF - who was killed in action - on 7 June 1917 - at Messines Ridge, Ypres, Belgium. Sergeant Albert Jennings had also served in the South African War (NZ service # 4246, 7th Contingent). Refer his profile this website.
