  • You were my father's uncle and he told us what little he knew about you. It is tragic that you died the way you did. You were my Grandad's big brother and from the family photo I've seen you were a fit, healthy young man. I have seen records in papers Past and you were often mentioned as having academic success. Your name is on the memorial at Sawyer's Bay and we won't ever forget your sacrifice.Rest in Peace Great Uncle William.
