  • I was never fortunate to have ever met you. I was not even born yet when you left to go to war. My Mother was your youngest Sister, and also the youngest family member. So, she was still just a young girl when you left. I wish I could have known you and sat down for many a conversation of your life stories and experiences. Sadly as fate as it, that was never going to be. You bravely lost your life and were never to return back home. I want to thank you Great Uncle Raymond for being so strong and fearlessly leaving your family and loved ones behind to venture into what would have been the complete unknown. I thank you for bravely and courageously fighting for your country so we could live. You truly are a Hero in my eyes and it makes me so proud to be your Great Niece. You will forever be in my thoughts. All my love and respect, Glennis Topia
