    • Son of James Boyce and Amy Maria Boyce nee Groves of Ruatoria, Waiapu Valley, East Coast, North Island, New Zealand. He was born in April 1904, Waiapu, Poverty Bay, New Zealand. Enlisted in the New Zealand Army Service Corps of Transport (NZASC) later known as the Royal New Zealand Corps of Transport (RNZCT). While his death in the Graves Registration Report Form is listed as the 8 Jan 1944 his exact date of death is unknown. A Military Coronor’s Inquest was held and official cause of death was drowning.
