  • I have a letter written to Mrs Brassey during the War
    My late Mother Norma knew him well
    In 1983 I was traveling in Italy with my Mother and she wanted to visit his Grave in Cassino
    Unfortunately we didn't have time which I now regret
    Mum said to me as our Train went through Casino 'My Friend is buried here , he was killed in action
