    He attended King's College and is commemorated in their Roll of Honour.

    Remembered on the Takapuna War Memorial, The Strand, Takapuna.

    Was part of Samoan Occupation Force 1914-1915 discharged from army March 1915. Joined RNAS 29/1/1916. After flying training joined No. 2 Wing based in Malta. While with F Squadron on Mudros killed flying a Sopwith Camel that spun in. Buried in East Mudros Military Cemetary age 24 AWMM
