Court, Hamilton, from which he resigned in September 1941 to enlist, and a keen local sportsman. While in Hamilton Lloyd was a member of the Lochiel Golf Club and the Hamilton Tennis Club.He completed gunnery training in Canada and was posted as a rear gunner in a Lancaster squadron in the United Kingdom. At the time of his death he was attached to Bomber Command.Just before his death he met Rev.
