  • Raymond Macindoe was the son of C. G. Macindoe and of Elsie Macindoe (nee Prime); husband of Natalie B. Macindoe, of Remuera, Auckland, New Zealand.

    Raymond Macindoe attended King's School and King's College from 1925-1930. He was School Prefect, XV member, and a prominent boxer. In 1942 he commanded a field battery in the Solomons Campaign and transferred to the Middle East in 1945. AWMM
