  • Alec was a very close friend of both my father and mother (before they were married) and their families were also close friends. They moved in the same circles and had much fun and mischief together as young adults. My parents talked on a number of occasions about his death and what might have been. He is one of our closest links to the inter-generational effect of war. We are grateful for his sacrifice.
