    Flight Sergeant Dobson was reported as missing on operations in the New Zealand Herald on 16 August 1943. On 24 April 1944 he was listed in the Herald as 'presumed dead'. He was a wireless operator/air gunner

    In 1998 Marco Scuderi and Rosario Scuderi undertook a photographic project in the Catania War Cemetery in Sicily. The photos attached to this record are part of the collection they presented to Auckland War Memorial Museum and include the entrance and plaques, cross of sacrifice, views of the cemetery and the headstone of this serviceman AWMM
