  • Husband of Marjorie Louise (nee Sandford) Rogers (d. 2000)

    When Rogers sailed from Wellington Harbour on 9 September 1939 he was in the Merchant service mostly involved in 'Port Line' duty on the Atlantic. He then transferred to the Navy on 20 September 1940. He served for 6 years overseas.

    He married in Glasgow, Scotland and the marriage was announced in the newspaper, March 1941 AWMM
