  • The details surrounding the time Mr Gardiner spent as a POW are vague as he did not talk about it much and the family can only recall some of the facts. They do know however that he spent his 21st Birthday in a POW Camp which means he was captured prior to February 1944.

    Mr Gardiner's ashes were scattered at the Crematorium AWMM
