    Married Joan Thelma Moore (810707) who served with the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps (WAAC) during World War II

    His brother, Thomas Stewart Wauchop (service no. 469048) was killed in action in Italy on 25 July 1944.

    Sergeant Wauchop embarked for overseas service twice. The first was to Fiji in 1942. The second was in 1944 when he sailed for Italy via Egypt. AWMM
