Obituary RIFLEMAN PERCY DE VILLE. Rifleman Percy de Ville, whose name is amongst the latest list of killed was a fine type of young man, broad-shouldered and over 6ft high, although only in his 21st year. He was the son of Mr and Mrs H. De Ville, of London street, Hamilton, and was born at Te Kahu, near Te Awamutu, where he received his education. He later worked at tanning pursuits in various parts of the Waikato, and was generally recognised as a "good sport." He left New Zealand as a member of the 9th Reinforcements in the Rifle Brigade. He was well-known and respected, and his parents will receive a large amount [of sympathy].
