  • Edgar Warmington was the seventh and youngest son of Edwin and Zealandia Emily Warmington, Te Koporu.

    He was a painter and paper hanger by trade, educated at the Te Koporu School. He was a keen participant in all branches of sport, running, cycling, played for the Southern football team and was a Northern Wairoa representative.

    Sapper Warmington sailed with the Second Echelon, arriving in Greece in March

    last.
