  • Glyn Fisher was the son of Thomas and Alice Elizabeth Fisher, of Lower Hutt. Originally from Wales.

    Educated at Wellington Technical College.

    Later attended evening classes at same college.

    Actively interested in the sports of football, swimming and boxing.

    Applied for aircrew training on 9 December 1940; enlisted 12 May 1941, where he was employed on ground duties. AWMM
