  • I served with Bruce in Malaya in 2Bn NZ Regt 1959-1961. Used to have the odd beer together in the NAAFI in Taiping Malaya during our term. He was a dog handler and I was a signaller/bandsman. Attending his memorial service on his repatriation to Hastings 31 August 2018. I retired as a WO1 RNZ Signals after 28 years service. Joined 1957 as an RF Cadet.
