  • Leo Bulford was the son of Frank Herbert and Kate Bulford; nephew of Mr. F. Buford, of Mount Albert, Auckland City, New Zealand.

    Bulford was Company Sergeant Major of D Company, 18 Battalion. At the time of his death, D Company were holding a hill against German infantry not far from Galatas, Crete. AWMM
