  • To whom it may concern,

In recent days, i have been discussing Flt.Lt. Frank Hardman with an person in my old hometown in the Netherlands. He has researched Frank for some time and seeking acknowledgment of his action over the town of Geldermalsen. The story goes that the pilot was hit by Flak and before crashing and subsequently losing his life, dropped his bombs outside the town to prevent unnecessary casualties. I was wondering if this was ever made known to authorities, as this would in my view be reason for acknowledgement of an brave act.
