  • Son of Gilbert and Minnie Robertson of Hamilton.

    Sergeant Robertson is included in a newspaper clipping giving details of his success in Air Force Examinations in Canada. He graduated top of his school in the final examinations and was recommended for a commission.

    He was buried initially in the Municipal Cemetery at Wilhelmshaven in Germany but later transferred to the British Military Cemetery at Oldenberg Sage in Germany. Memorial plaque: P/O Robertson N B RNZAF
