  • My grandfather, a British soldier, is also buried in Forenville Military Cemetery. He was killed in action on the 8th October 1918. If any of Thomas’s family see this note and have not been to Forenville, I would like to assure them that it is in a lovely rural setting and beautifully tended. I would also like to inform Thomas’s family that I am organising a small centenary commemoration event at Forenville to be held on the 8th October 2018. It is a long way to come but if anyone can make the trip to France they are assured of a warm welcome not only by us Brits, but also the local French people. I can be contacted through this website
