    • George Johnston Byrne (junior) his birthday is recorded incorrectly. It is actually 21 August 1910, not the 12 August 1910. Could this please be changed. I know I’m correct as he was my grandfather and I’ve seen his birth certificate. Public - Nerida - Direct descendant - 25 April 2022 - Family papers. He was born in Gisborne, New Zealand.

  • Though I never met you, I feel I know you very well. Thank you so much for your service to your adopted country. I have been to your homeland of Ireland and you are honoured on your parents grave. In the short time you had raising my grandfather, you did an awesome job. My grandfather was a real gentleman and you would be very proud of him. I’m sure you have caught up with one another in heaven by now.
