  • Clarence Hedley Byron was my uncle I never met .With his brother Arthur Earnest
    he served in the Medical Corps as they did not wish to kill anyone.
    That also put them in the front line rescuing or tending to the wounded.
    I'm proud of them
    Back home Clarence was sub editor of the Waimate Times. He had the family musical ability and was a cellist .
