  • Uncle Hugh was my mother's brother.
    He was one of the many young New Zealanders who joined the RAF and lost his life in the fight for freedom.
    My wife Val and I visited Runnymede in 1991 and had a special moment touching Hugh's name engraved on the Memorial Wall

  • Hugh was my father Ken's brother. He was a pilot in the RAF and died in a training mission over the English channel. Lester & Trudi Wright visited this memorial on May 24, 2015.
