  • I have been researching the crash of Z6113 the aircraft in which Robert was killed along with fellow New Zealander Bill Stuart for the past two years. With the help of the Plane Hunter group in the Netherlands we have been able to find the crash site. Records had shown us that a memorial to all the crew killed on the night of the 27th August 1942 was put up by local people in the village of Elsendorp during the war. However for some reason unknown this went missing in the 1960's. And with it the details as to the crash sites position. It is are plan to reinstate a new memorial, and therefore we would like to find any family of Roberts in order to share with them where the memorial will be placed, along with information we have on the crash itself.
