  • We keep a photo of James on display in our entry hall. He was an extremely good looking young chap. He died too young. And too many young men died in this brutal desert conflict.

    He will always be remembered by us and we hope that our grandchildren will also be aware that death is always the main consequence of war.

    However - a lifetime of peace for billions of people was also achieved by the defeat of Hitlers Army in North Africa.

    This is dedicated to the Uncle that died 2 years before I was born
