    Educated at Hereworth School, Havelock North; Wanganui Collegiate and Pembroke College, Cambridge England where he gained a B.A. and was admitted to the bar, Barrister-at-Law (Inner Temple).

    Spelling on gravestone is Colman; on CWGC is Coleman AWMM
