  • Cyril Comrie was the son of Henry Pearson Comrie, and of Olga Mary N. Comrie (nee Lane), of Wellington; husband of Helen Comrie, of Wellington, New Zealand.

    Pilot of a Hudson aircraft which crashed into the Waitemata Harbour between Hobsonville and Pine Island on 25th January 1943 during a trainign exercise. Both occupants of the aircraft lost their lives.
