  • My Uncle Bill (my Mother's younger brother), NZ 6530 , 22 Bat.NZ Army, KIA 20th May 1941, Malame Airfield Crete, Greece, Remembered on the Commonwealth War Graves Memorial in Athens, which I have attended on behalf of my Grandmother, back in 1966. Uncle Bill was always remembered and missed especially on ANZAC Day.
