  • On the eve of my 50th birthday I have found your record. I can not imagine what it must have been like for you to die so young so far from home on your own at sea. So tragic. My father, your 1st nephew, he was 2 when you died, told me they tried to rescue you but it was too rough. You were sitting on the wing of the plane waiting to be rescued. I have never forgotten the sadness of your story. I wish I had got to meet you.
You were so missed by your family & still are. Thank you for all you did to protect us. Thank you for your bravery. Loved forever 🥰🥰
