    • Patrick Donnelly was the son of Thomas and Nora Donnelly, of Matakanui, Otago, New Zealand. AWMM
    • Enrolled at Matakanui School 26 July 1915.
      Worked for the Post Office, initially at Oturehua but then transferred to Alexandra in June 1938.
      Keen rugby player, represented Otago Country prewar. Public - Michael - Other relative - 10 March 2024 - NZSG School Admission Register Entry

      Jim Becker's War (Peter Becker ed and publisher) 2020. Book mentions Pat, whom Jim knew pre-war. They were friends and played rugby together. Book has two photos of Pat.
