    A motion of sympathy with the relatives of Private J. Dougall, a former member of the Thistle Club and Canterbury representative, who has died of sickness overseas, was passed at last night’s meeting of the Canterbury Football Association. The chairman (Mr J. G. Parry) paid a tribute to Private Dougall’s sterling qualities as a player, and members stood as a mark of respect.
