    Report
  • To honour my Great-uncle Percy Carr who fell at Messines 1917. Although I didn't get the chance to meet you, rest assured that your memory is cherished by your family. I intend to be there where you fought and fell in June 2017. Percy was the son of Eliza and the late Samuel Carr of Ongaonga. He was born in 1892 the youngest child along with his twin Leonard Joseph. At one stage Eliza had three of her sons overseas.
