    Private C. J. Vause, who was reported in the Australian casualties in last issue to be missing, is an erstwhile Gisbornite. He was on the Gisborne Post and Telegraph staff some years ago, and was a member of the Gisborne Rowing Club; From here he went to Christchurch, and thence to Auckland, and subsequently he proceeded to Australia and enlisted with the Commonwealth forces.
