    Disembarked Suez, 10 April 1916.
    Embarked Port Said for France, 13 April 1916; joined 2nd Bn, Canterbury Infantry Regiment, Armentieres, 18 May 1916.
    Wounded in action, 28 May 1916 (abdomen and hand); admitted to 2nd NZ Field Ambulance, 29 May 1916; discharged to unit, 14 June 1916; rejoined unit, 15 June 1916.
    Reported missing in action, 21 September 1916; subsequently confirmed killed in action, 21 September 1916.
