    Among the casualties announced on Tuesday was Lance-Corporal Ronald Goodall, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Goodall. Matawhero, reported killed in action. Lance-Corporal Goodall was with the New Zealand forces in the latest push against General Rommel's army, and he met his death during the very early part of the battle"
    He joined up early in the war, .and .was with a party of .New Zealand troops which was sent to Fiji until transferred to Egypt.
