  • Donald Stott was the son of Ann and Robert Stott, Auckland City, New Zealand; husband of Mary Kathleen Stott, Anderson's Bay, Dunedin, New Zealand.

    Don attended Northcote Primary and Takapuna Grammar School, when he left school he was a rotary machinist for the New Zealand Herald newspaper. He was a tall thin man with red hair, known as being charismatic with a sense of humour and great endurance.
