  • Ernest Edward Halliwell is my grandfather's first cousin. Tragically killed in a motorcycle accident near Gisborne in 1943. Ernest was serving in the RNZAF at the time. Continue to rest in peace Edward. I salute you for all that you gave to our country in the most difficult of times in World War 2.
