  • My garden oversees a hill with five trees shaped in a cross which was carried out by the villagers of Saxondale as a mark of respect for Fg Off Harker. These trees are the crash site of Fg Off Harker’s aircraft. Each morning I look across at the hill and remember the aircrew taken too soon.
