  • To remember Uncle Harold, older borther to my dad Jack. Family stories tell of a young man with a large personality, a member of the Lyall Bay Surf Club, and 'a bit of a lad'. Captain of a Lancaster bomber, Harold died over Germany on a bombing raid. I wish I'd known him.
