  • George Heathcote was the son of George Thomas Heathcote, and of Beatrice Mary Heathcote (nee Wharton), of Dunedin; husband of Eileen Heathcote, of Dunedin.

    Originally buried in Cologne's South Cemetery, but were later reinterred at Rheinberg

    Heathcote's captain on LL754/P, Flight Lieutenant John Lucian Funnell, was also a New Zealander.
