    Three sons, brothers Thomas (40814), Walter Arthur Hudson (3/2528) and Fred Hudson (8/1513) served in WW1

    Thomas married Ellen Winchester. They had two daughters - June Nelson (Sydney) and Dorothy Logie (Lower Hutt).

    Fought in the Battle of the Somme.

    Discharged with conduct noted as good.
