  • I was researching the Christie family -who are distant cousins - and came upon the name of Alexander Christie who died of wounds in France in 1918. Alexander left behind his wife when he sailed as a replacement in 1917. A life cut too short at 26. We will never know how he could have contributed to his countrys future.
    Rest in peace Alexander-you are not forgotten.
