    • Harry Clapham was the son of Lambert and Maria Clapham, of 28 Morris St., Palmerston North, New Zealand. Native of Colyton, Wellington, New Zealand. AWMM
    • He was known as Cautley, was raised on a farm in Colyton and went to Colyton school. He died serving his country and, according to a letter, he was buried in the family vault in England. Public - Jeannette - Researcher - 8 February 2015 - Family papers
    • Harry Clapham is remembered on a family gravestone in Thorney Abbey Churchyard, Cambridgeshire, England (Grave Reference: B63); but according to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission he is buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery (Grave Reference: XXVII.
