  • Charles Hood was the son of John Selwyn and Eileen Ellen Hood, of Mount Eden, Auckland, New Zealand.

    Hood was lost while a prisoner of war by the Japanese when the ship in which he was being taken to Singapore was torpedoed and sunk. AWMM
